- Coursework is aligned to state and district standards;
- Student work is performed on laptops provided by AU
- AU's coordinator will work with the school counselor to ensure the homebound program complements student schedules
- Student work is individualized and self-paced;
- State certified teachers in all academic disciplines are available for real-time student support;
- Tutoring is available in English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education/Health, Life Skills, Vocational Training and most electives;
- Tutoring builds test taking skills for State Standardized Tests.

The program services students in need of homebound instruction: long term medical disabilities, pregnancy, expulsions, suspensions, excessive disciplinary problems, credit make-up, summer school programs and drop-out prevention. |
