In academic year 2007/08 Alternatives Unlimited assessed all students in its tutoring programs.
The average number of hours completed by the students was 24 hours. 100% of the students that completed the program made some gains in their math and/or reading scores. These students gained between 4 and 22 points with an average of 8 points gained by most students. 5% of the students tutored were High School students. 48% of the students were Primary grade students in grades K-3. 47% of the remaining students were intermediate and middle school students.
30% of all students were ELL students and 10% were special education students. |
